Matthew McConaughey Gets Wet In New Interstellar Poster

Could Interstellar spell another Oscar for Matthew McConaughey? The more we see of Christopher Nolan's upcoming film the more excited we get. Hopefully, Interstellar will prove to be the Oscar contender that many are anticipating it will be.

In the latest poster released for the film (via Yahoo), Matthew McConaughey is shown wading in the water on presumable some alien world (hence the spaceship and astronaut suits). It's not clear who the other two astronauts are, but it's likely they are McConaughey's co-stars Wes Bentley and Anne Hathaway.

Interstellar chronicles the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.

Interstellar is being directed by Christopher Nolan. Interstellar cast includes Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Bill Irwin, John Lithgow, Casey Affleck, David Gyasi, Wes Bentley, Mackenzie Foy, Timothée Chalamet, Topher Grace, David Oyelowo, Ellen Burstyn, and Michael Caine.

Interstellar is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on November 7, 2014.
