Naruto Miniseries To Launch After Series Finale

The Naruto manga may be ending on Monday, but there's still more to come. A new Naruto miniseries is set to launch next spring. The new will be officially announced in this year's 50th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, according to Anime New Network.

The miniseries will be part of the "Naruto Shin Jidai Kaimaku Project" (Naruto's New Era Opening Project) project that marks the series' 15th anniversary. The project kicks off with the release of the final Naruto anime film in Japan on December 6, and continues with the debut of a stage play based on the series in March.

The official Naruto website is currently showing a countdown, said to be counting down to huge new project, which will expire on Monday. It seems likely that it is counting down to the official announcement of the miniseries.
