While viewers saw many familiar sights in last Friday's Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer, most may have missed the biggest callback to original trilogy.

The lightsaber sound that rang through the trailer's final seconds was revealed to belong to Luke Skywalker's lightsaber from the original Star Wars: A New Hope film. Good Morning America confirmed what some had speculated throughout the weekend, proving that Star Wars is ready to plant some Easter Eggs from far, far away. Good Morning America didn't reveal their source for the revelation, but since the news program and Star Wars are both owned by Disney, there's a good chance that official word came from the brass up high.

The Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer has been a trending topic everywhere over the past weekend, netting more than 40 million YouTube views in less than 72 hours and sparking tomes of speculation and theories amongst fans. And now that Star Wars has confirmed the presence of one Easter Egg, we're sure that fans will get busy watching it again in the hunt for more.
