Constantine is not disappearing quietly if its ratings are any indication, TV By The Numbers reports.

The supernatural drama saw a 25 percent jump in the ratings. Constantine saw a 25 percent jump or .2 of a point week to week in adult 18-49 rating (from a 0.8 to a 1.0) and +4% in total viewers (3.295 million vs. 3.169 million), to capture its top 18-49 rating in three weeks, since Nov. 21 (1.1).

This is a surprising turn given weeks ago there was speculation that the series was on the axe to be cancelled.

This week's Constantine retained 77% of its 18-49 lead-in from fellow NBC supernatural drama Grimm, up from last week's 67% (0.8 vs. 1.2).  Despite the 10 p.m. hour, last night's "Constantine"  maintained 100% of its rating from half-hour to half-hour in adults, men and women 18-49 (1.0 to 1.0 in each demo) and adults, men and women 25-54 (1.2 to 1.2 in each demo).

Based on the DC/Vertigo comics Hellblazer, Constantine returns from winter hiatus in January with all new episodes and airs Friday nights at 10/9c on NBC.
