Britne Oldford, a Canadian actress recognizable for her time on SkinsRavenswood and American Horror Story, was the mysterious girl seen on last night's teaser for the upcoming midseason premiere of The Flash, "Revenge of the Rogues," ComicBook.com has confirmed.

Oldford will play Shawna Baez, girlfriend to Micah Parker's character, Clay Parker. At the time, the episode in which he would appear wasn't known, but ComicBook.com, who first reported his casting, speculated that his girlfriend was likely to be a familiar DC Comics name based on the following character description:

Clay Parker, an inmate at Iron Heights Prison, is currently locked up for stealing money and working with a big-time crime lord in Central City.  When Clay's girlfriend breaks him out of prison, Clay exploits her feelings for him and convinces her to utilize her meta-human powers for one last heist before they leave the city for good.

Based on name similarity (and, yeah, a little bit the hair), we'll guess that Oldford will be playing a variation on Lashawn Baez from The Flash executive producer and DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns' time writing the comic book series. Baez was known as Peek-A-Boo and had teleportation-based powers, making her a formidable nuisance for a speedster.

Baez had a terminally-ill father and when she tried to steal a kidney to transplant for him, she ended up in jail. Later, she would reveal that she planned to use her powers for good until The Flash branded her a Rogue.

Her character will first appear in the twelfth episode of the season, indicating that the trailer widely assumed to be for the tenth episode in fact has footage from at least two and probably a minimum of three episodes.

The Flash returns Tuesday, January 20, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
