With preparations for CBS' Supergirl series already underway, the network is already drafting designs for Kara Zor-El's costume.

And even though she doesn't have an actress to fill it out yet, CBS's Entertainment Chairman Nina Tassler is already pleased with the suit's look. While discussing the in-production Supergirl series, Tassler revealed that she's caught a glimpse of the costume.

"We have seen the costume," she told Entertainment Weekly. "Awesome costume."

Tassler probably wasn't bluffing. The designs, she revealed, come from Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood, the same mind behind The Flash's and Arrow's costume designs.

In discussing Supergirl's tone and direction, Tassler described the series as a hybrid between a procedural and a serialized drama. The chairman said that while Supergirl will have a full arc that executive producer Greg Berlanti pitched, it will also solve cases within the span of an episode.

"The beauty of it is now with shows like Good Wife and Madam Secretary, you can have serialized story elements woven into a case of the week," Tassler told EW. "She's a crime solver, so she's going to have to solve a crime. She's going to get a bad guy."

Supergirl is currently preparing to shoot a pilot episode, with the intent of a Fall 2015 season release.
