When Sam Wilson suits up as the Falcon in Captain America: Civil War, he'll  be looking far more super heroic.

The news comes from The Falcon himself, actor Anthony Mackie. While doing press for his upcoming film Black or White, Mackie revealed that his character's Falcon suit in the Captain America threequel will vastly improve upon what he wore in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

"The new falcon suit is gonna be much better than the old Falcon suit; gotta rebuild," he revealed to Hollywood Chicago.

Granted, Mackie's cinematic Falcon barely resembled his comic book counterpart. In the film, Wilson only had time to grab his flight wings and a pair of goggles before joining the battle against HYDRA. He didn't have much time to go spandex shopping. But when he dons the wings next year, it's safe to say that The Avengers will lend a hand with the redesign, complete with Stark-tech upgrades.

Mackie also gave another excellent soundbite to Windy City Live in which the actor gave his thoughts about one day picking up the mantle of Captain America. "Well, you know there are many incarnations in the comic book, and we are now going into the Civil War. So, if you look at it in the comic book, Cap gives Bucky the shield, Bucky gives it back to Cap, Cap gives it to [Sam Wilson]. Then Bucky goes off and marries Black Widow, so I keep the shield... give it back to Cap, and recently Cap wanted to be old, so he gave me the shield back and now I got the Shield; I'm not giving it back."

Sam Wilson is rumored to appear briefly in this summer's Avengers: Age of Ultron before officially returning as The Falcon in Captain America: Civil War on May 6, 2016.
