Collider spoke with film producer Andrew Form, who provided a nice little nugget of info that reveals when and where Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 will begin filming. "We're in prep right now.  We start shooting in New York in April," Form said.

We know concept art was created for the dim witted thugs Bebop and Rocksteady, but of course they didn't end up in the first film. "We designed and we did lots of work on all of them and then only so many fit in the box and luckily we have another chance to make another one of these movies and some of those characters that got cut out of the first one can make it into the second one," Form told Collider.

The sequel to the Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live-action film already has a June 3, 2016 release date. Hopefully this time the film won't experience as many delays as the first one did. The film has taken quite bit of heat lately as it has garnered a slew of Razzie nominations. I'm sure it doesn't bother Paramount Pictures in the least as the film earned the studio $477 million at the worldwide box office, insuring a green light for the sequel. Go ninja, go ninja, go!

So what do you think? Are you excited to see the next one? Let us know below!
