James Gunn Talks How Spider-Man Would Get Along With Guardians Of The Galaxy

Clevver Movies recently spoke with James Gunn at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards about the popularity of Guardians of the Galaxy, and how Spider-Man would get along with the Guardians were he to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"You know I think as you know Peter Parker is known for having a great sense of humor so I think he would probably get along pretty well with at least some of the Guardians. He'd probably get along ok with Rocket. He'd probably get along ok with Quill. Might have a harder time with Drax, he probably wouldn't understand the sense of humor," Gunn said. "But I don't know about [Spidey] joining the MCU. We'll have to see about that. It's a long shot."

Guardians of the Galaxy was one of the top grossing films of 2014. The highly anticipated sequel is scheduled to hit theaters May 5, 2017.
