The Flash executive producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed today on Twitter that Armen V. Kevorkian at The CW is currently working on the visual effects to make Gorilla Grodd a reality on live-action television.

The character, teased in the pilot and then again in "Plastique," played by stunt performer Simon Burnett, who ironically also worked on Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

They've said before that the character would appear on the show this season, but there's been no indication yet as to when. Unlike Arrow, where Marc Guggenheim often posts the title page of scripts online as they're starting to film, giving fans a tease of what's to come, generally the first indicators of what's going on with The Flash come from either bootleg set photos or the official synopsis that comes out two weeks before the episode airs.

The Flash airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT and this week's episode centers on The Pied Piper, played by Andy Mientus. ComicBook.com has an interview with him coming up soon!
