Avengers: Age Of Ultron will setup phase three of Marvel's cinematic universe. We'll see the seeds of conflict between Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) being planted, but will the film also setup Thor: Ragnarok?

"Yeah, definitely," Chris Hemsworth told Digital Spy. "It has to, doesn't it? Unless I was on the sidelines kind of waving. He's not."

Hemsworth was asked if he could divulge any details about his third Thor film. "No, I can't," he replied. "But also, there is no script for Thor, the next Thor, so I have no idea where we'll end up. But, it's pretty big, this one."

What is Ragnarok? "The Doom of the Gods" is the end of the world, according to Norse mythology. In the Marvel universe, Ragnarok is an apocalyptic-battle that the Realm of Asgard is a cycle of death and rebirth. The Asgardian people are a very proud people. They believe in glory and memory, and this Ragnarok event robs them of those two things. So in the comics, Thor becomes aware of it and seeks to end the cycle.

I'll assume like with Captain America: Civil War, the subtitle isn't an indication of the plot being true to any of the "Ragnarok" story arcs. And there have been a few. What do you think?

Thor: Ragnarok will be released July 28, 2017.
