The Red Hood Gang To Appear On Gotham In February

Just over a week ago, executive producer Bruno Heller revealed that Red Hood and his gang were headed to Gotham this season. We just didn't know when. Until now. Fox has released their February schedule and lookie here, the Red Hood Gang will stir up trouble Feb 23rd.

MONDAYS - GOTHAM (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT)

The fearsome secret origin of iconic Super-Villain The Scarecrow is revealed on Feb. 2 and Feb. 9, when Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Bullock (Donal Logue) track down a killer who murders in the name of science. On Feb. 16, Gotham City turns into a three-ring circus when a clown attack traps Gordon and Dr. Thompkins (guest star Morena Baccarin) under the Big Top, and Gordon meets John Grayson (guest star Rob Gorrie), the father of the future Robin. Finally, on Feb. 23, Gordon and Bullock track down the Red Hood Gang, as Selina (Camren Bicondova) plays a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse with Ivy (guest star Clare Foley).

Red Hood and his gang play a significant role in Batman comics. In a 1951 issue of Detective Comics, The Joker was the leader of the Red Hood Gang and during a battle against Batman he falls into a vat of chemicals. His red hood had a breathing apparatus built into it and he was able to swim to freedom, but the toxins caused him to be disfigured. Thus, The Joker was born. Perhaps, this is how Gotham will introduce The Joker?
