Marvel released the first trailer for the upcoming Daredevil Netflix series earlier today. The trailer had a lot going on, with first looks at character, action scenes, and Matt Murdock's confession. Here, we've put together a list of the five biggest reveals from the trailer.

foggy nelson

Foggy Nelson

No character is as important to Daredevil and his history as Foggy Nelson, Matt Murdock's law partner and best friend. Played by Elden Enson in the Netflix series, Foggy has been by Matt's side throughout the highs and many, many lows of his life and superhero career.

Karen Page

Deborah Ann Woll plays Karen Page, one of Matt's early love interests in the comics. Anyone familiar with Daredevil's history knows that his relationships all tend to be tragic, so the potential for drama here is high.

Stick

Stick is the blind mentor of Daredevil (and Elektra). Deceptively frail looking, Stick is a master martial artist who teaches Matt Murdock everything he knows about being a vigilante. Played here by Scott Glenn, Stick is an often forgotten, but key, part of the Daredevil mythos.

Wilson Fisk

New York's Kingpin of Crime, Wilson Fisk is Daredevil's greatest enemy. Played by Vincent D'onofrio, Fisk and Daredevil have a grudging respect for each other, despite being on the opposite sides of the battle for Hell's Kitchen. We get a couple shots of Fisk in the trailer, though none show us his face. There is on one blink-and-you'll-miss-it scene that shows Fisk and Matt Murdock on a collision course.

Matt's senses

Not a character, obviously, but just as vital to Daredevil is the enhanced senses he has to replace his lost sight. One of the most exciting and interests parts of the Netflix series will be seeing how the series depicts these senses. We get a hint of that in the street scene, and in the scene where the music dims and the subtle sounds surrounding Daredevil can be heard. Reports from NYCC suggest that this is only the tip of the iceberg.

Daredevil released on Netflix on April 10.
