Emily Kinney may follow fellow The Walking Dead veteran Audrey Marie Anderson to The CW's DC Universe.

According to news and rumor site Vixen Varsity, Kinney is headed to Vancouver to appear on The Flash, where she'll play The Atom villain the Bug-Eyed Bandit in the forthcoming episode "All-Star Team Up."

She's been in Canada, according to various Instagram and Twitter posts, since February 5 or so.

The episode will feature guest appearances by Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), who head to Central City to get S.T.A.R. Labs' help working on Ray's A.T.O.M. Exosuit.

The rumor is that she will play Brie Larvan, a female version of the Bug-Eyed Bandit. Initial reports were interpreted to say the "classic" Bug-Eyed Bandit would appear in the series, alongside a second, bug-themed villain who was female, but it seems at least as likely now that Kinney will be the sole threat.

This would be the first high-profile job Kinney has taken since her exit from The Walking Dead in the show's controversial midseason finale. Following her character's death, thousands of fans flooded social media with demands to return her to the show in some way -- something that was done last night, when she and a number of other dead characters returned for a fantasy sequence.

Vixen Varsity also notes that The Flash series lead Grant Gustin recently started following Kinney on Twitter; while hardly definitive, it's a compelling piece of information when lumped in with everything else.

There's been nothing official from Kinney's social media accounts, and as of press time, The CW hasn't responded to an inquiry from ComicBook.com.
