Ryan Reynolds, or one his stuntmen, was spotted in costume filming scenes on Vancouver's Georgia Viaduct.

Tim Miller's R-rated superhero film began filming on the viaduct yesterday and will continue to do so until April 16th. It appear as though they are bringing the scene shown in the test footage to life. That Deadpool was computer-generated, but now they can add in a live-action version since Fox gave them the green light.

That scene, which you can view in the video below, featured Deadpool sitting on a highway overpass cracking fourth wall jokes, drawing a picture with crayons and singing Gwen Stefani song. Then he leaps into action when he spots his target which is a black SUV filled with generic thugs. He crashed through the sunroof and slaughters his victims with humor and of course, his fighting skills.

It's days like this that I wish I had a better zoom lens! #deadpool #movieshoot #mustbevancouver

Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool slices into theaters February 12, 2016.
