New Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation Still With Tom Cruise & Rebecca Ferguson

Paramount has supplied Entertainment Weekly with a new image from Christopher McQuarrie's upcoming action film Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation.

Ethan Hunt (Cruise) is up against an anti-IMF and he'll need help from a new operative played by Rebecca Ferguson (Hercules). The actress revealed to EW she suffers from vertigo. "Of course, the first scene we did, Tom and me, was throwing ourselves off a Vienna rooftop," she said. "I was going to say, 'It couldn't get worse,' but it definitely did."

Thankfully, Cruise doesn't suffer from the ailment as he used his fearlessness to tackle a stunt that required him strapped to a plane that went up to 3,000 feet. You can blame, or thank, the director for that. "They brought me this plane, and I was looking at the model," McQuarrie explained. "And I said to Tom, 'What if you were on the outside of this plane?' I was kinda half joking when I said it, and he just looked at me and said, 'Yeah, I could do that.'"

The cast includes: Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, Jeremy Renner as William Brandt, Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, and Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell. They'll be joined by newcomers to the series: Sean Harris, Rebecca Ferguson, Alec Baldwin, Simon McBurney and Zhang Jingchu.

Mission: Impossible 5 will be released on July 31, 2015.
