Scott Eastwood Gets Questioned About Suicide Squad

Actor Scott Eastwood, rumored to be playing Colonel Steve Trevor in Suicide Squad and, by extension, Wonder Woman, faced some of his first grilling about joining the DC Universe since he admitted that he was in Suicide Squad a week or so back.

In an interview with MTV, embedded below, the son of Clint Eastwood expressed excitement ot be working with director David Ayer again after Fury, and said that he's seen Jared Leto's hair. He avoided questions about being Trevor, saying simply that he's open to doing any future movies with good filmmakers and good scripts.

Featuring an all-star cast including Will Smith, Jared Leto and Margot Robbie, Suicide Squad centers on a number of DC Comics supervillains who are working as a black ops team for the U.S. government.

David Ayer will direct the film, which stars Leto as The Joker, Robbie as Harley Quinn, Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Jay Hernandez as (we assume) El Diablo, and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress. Viola Davis will play Amanda Waller. Ed Harris and Jackie Earle Haley are rumored to appear as well.

Suicide Squad is expected to start shooting this month for a release on August 5, 2016.
