Arrow's Paul Blackthorne Selling T-Shirts To Stop Elephant Poaching, Including One Signed By Cast

Arrow's Paul Blackthorne is selling t-shirts to benefit a charity aimed at saving endangered elephants from illegal poaching...and if you get lucky, you could end up with a t-shirt signed by the cast of Arrow.

Blackthorne is following in the footsteps of series lead Stephen Amell, who has two wildly successful campaigns on the charity/t-shirt website Represent.

Blackthorne's charity of choice helps to monitor and report illegal poaching activity in the hopes of preserving endangered species of elephants.

"I got a call from the Represent guys, saying, 'Is there any campaign or any cause you'd like to get behind?'" Explained Blackthorne in an interview with ComicBook.com, the full text of which will run tomorrow. "The elephant situation has been absolutely killing me in recent years; it's just tragic this is happening. So I'm working with an organization called Air Shepherd, which we're going to donate the money two from the t-shirt sales, 100% of it. They have these supercomputers that predict the movement of the animals and the poachers. They then send in drones to confirm that, they then send in rangers to stop it. So where the drones are flying, the poaching stops."

He added that there's a t-shirt signed by the cast of Arrow, which he had planned to sell at auction sometime after the campaign ends. Instead, he's decided that anyone who contributes to the campaign and buys a t-shirt will be entered into a drawing to win the signed shirt.
