While promoting Avengers: Age of Ultron, Robert Downey Jr. (Air America) discussed the possibility of Spider-Man joining The Avengers now that he's going to be a part of the MCU.

When asked if he wanted to see Spider-Man join the Avengers, Downey Jr. replied "I do." When asked if he wanted to see Peter Parker or Miles Morales as Spider-Man, Downey Jr. said, "I'm going to say Parker. I'm old school."

"The funny thing is, it all feeds back into itself because now it's got me thinking that that would be something that Stark Industries would actually be diverting funds to and all that," Downey Jr. mused to EOnline.

Robert is putting the cart before the horse, but that is the product of his enthusiasm for his Marvel role and Spider-Man, which makes it fine in my books.

Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth's Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1, 2015.
