This week at CinemaCon, Universal Studios closed out the convention with an exciting presentation showcasing their 2015 slate of movies.

Among those films, of course, was Jurassic World. Director Colin Trevorrow and star Chris Pratt took the stage to present a new extended trailer. The audience got a look at a medley of both previously seen and brand new terrifying footage.

To start, a pig ran through the woods. A raptor begins chasing it and a Jurassic World employee uses a long pole to try and lasso the pig from a bridge above, but a dinosaur locks its jaw in the pig just as the employee secures a hold. The employee is tossed down from the bridge and into a raptor pit. Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) rushes in and calms the raptors by raising his hands to them and speaking very softly.

Elsewhere, Grady explains that with the dinosaurs, it's not about control. Rather, it's a relationship based on respect. From here, shots of Gray (Ty Simpkins) and others arriving at the park cross the screen, before scientists discuss an experiment with Owen.

The scientists explain that they wanted to modify dinosaurs genetics to up the "wow factor" of the park. What the new dinosaur is made of is classified, but the employees are confident that it will not only give the kids in attendance nightmares, but their parents, too.

Originally, the scientists created two new dinosaurs. When Grady asks what happened to the other, they reveal that the Indominous Rex which is still alive ate her own sibling.

Grady is seen fleeing from the gigantic, menacing Indominous Rex. He runs to a closing gate and gets out just before the I-Rex does, as well. Grady hides underneath a truck and rips a gasoline pipe, leaking gas all over himself to hide his scent, as the I-Rex devours a man sitting beside the truck.

Grady orders an evacuation of the island. Security, dressed more like soldiers, readies themselves. The team searches through the woods for the I-Rex which had a tracking device implanted in it. They reach the tracking device and realize the dinosaur set them up - it ambushes them.

Brontosauruses are found dead in an open field, but not completely eaten. Grady realizes that the I-Rex is not killing for food, but "killing for sport."

Gray and his friend are seen in the gyrosphere observing a group of stegasaurus. They argue over how many dinosaurs are near them, one saying four, the other saying five, referring to the reflection of the Indominous Rex which is behind them.

People run from the resort. Grady rides his motorcycle alongside raptors. A helicopter uses a machine gun to shoot at the I-Rex. The helicopter crashes into a domed building, freeing pterodactyls. Grady realizes the dinosaurs are communicating.

A pterodactyl snatches a girl up and drops her into the gigantic pool which houses the mosasaurus. She lands in the water, still alive. The mosasaurus emerges from the water and snatches a pterodactyl out of the air with its mouth.

Jurassic World unleashes in theaters June 12, 2015.
