Friends of the Avengers' cast and crew may want to hang out with their pals now, while they can.

That's because Captain America actor Chris Evans recently revealed that Marvel will shoot Avengers: Infinity War Pt. 1 & Pt. 2 back-to-back in a nine month filming marathon. According to Evans, directors Joe and Anthony Russo will start rolling cameras sometime in the Fall or Winter of 2016.

"We start the Infinity War, I think, some time in the third quarter," Evans told Esquire. "Fall or winter of 2016. That's going to be like nine months to shoot both movies back to back."

Judging from the amount of time that Evans will have to spend in front of the camera for Infinity War Pt. 1 and Pt. 2, it sounds like Captain America will play a pivotal role in both films. Lately, some rumors speculated that Steve Rogers and the other founding Avengers may not appear in the first half of Infinity War, with a new clan of Earth's Mightiest headlining the first installment. But who knows—maybe the film will feature Cap's Cooky Quartet of Avengers instead.

Avengers: Infinity War Pt. 1 opens on May4, 2018, and Pt. 2 opens on May 3, 2019.
