  1. Alan Cumming was awesome as Nightcrawler. It's too bad he hated the makeup process so much that he didn't want to do the role again. Not that I can blame him for that.

It wasn't that he hated the makeup process that much to the point he didn't come back, it was just that he didn't want to go through the makeup process again for a smaller role compared to his role in X-2. He barely had any screen time so he said it wasn't worth it & I believe the makeup process was something like 8hours (correct me if I'm wrong)

  4. Looks pretty awesome.

Also -- and this is equally important -- Cummings is simply too old now for the part, especially as this takes place two decades before his previous storyline appearance and it's a decade+ since he played the role.  While Hugh can get away with doing Wolverine for so long because of the popularity of both the actor and the character, Cummings *can't*.  It's a sad-but-true fact. (Besides, the whole point of the transitionary nature of the movies is to recast everybody, eventually, for future movies/spin-offs; keeping somebody who had a supporting role in one of the movies a dozen years ago is simply bad business from that POV....) #SadButTrue
