Asa Butterfield Rumored As Spider-Man Frontrunner

A new report claims that Ender's Game star Asa Butterfield, 18, is currently the frontrunner to become Marvel's Spider-Man/Peter Parker.

Asa has been mentioned as a contender for the role several times, but now Latino Review is ready to declare him as the leader of the pack Spidey hopefuls.

We have also reached out other industry sources who have confirmed that he is indeed the front runner including one who believed that he already had bagged the role, by stating: "Marvel had liked him since day one." - Kellvin Chavez

Whichever way Marvel is leaning, we do know from our sources that Marvel-Sony want to select the next Spider-Man within the next two weeks.
