Kate Beckinsale & Theo James Returning For Underworld 5

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lakeshore Entertainment and Screen Gems are beginning to move forward on the next Underworld film as they have brought back to main stars and added a director.

Kate Beckinsale (Click), who starred in three of the previous four vampire versus werewolves films, will reprise her role as Selene. Theo James, who appeared in Underworld: Awakening and then made a name for himself as 'Four' in the Divergent film series, will reprise his role as David. He was Selene's protege and became a Vampire-Corvinus Strain Hybrid. James his contractually obligated to return to the series as he signed an option agreement for Underworld: Awakening.

Anna Foerster will direct, based on a script by Cory Goodman. Foerster is known for handling the 2nd unit for Roland Emmerich's The Day After Tomorrow and White House Down as well as directing episodes of Starz's Outlander.
