Captain America: Civil War may see more of Crossbones than fans initially thought.

After saying just last week that he had completed his scenes for Captain America: Civil War, Crossbones actor Frank Grillo amended that statement with an ominous tease. According to Grillo, he might still have a few more scenes ahead of him. Grillo's first stint on-set was rather short, leading some to believe that the Crossbones character would play a minor role in Captain America's Threequel. But as Grillo wrote in his update, fans—along with Cap—should never put their guard down.

What do you think, readers? Excited to see a little more from Captain America's char-burned nemesis? Let us know in the comments.

Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.

Captain America: Civil War opens in theaters May 6, 2016.
