Deadpool actress Gina Carano ('Angel Dust') has confirmed that Andre Tricoteux is playing the metal-skinned mutant known as Colossus (Piotr Nikolaievitch Rasputin).

Yesterday, members of the Deadpool cast sent out messages confirming that the film had wrapped. One of the messages was from Carano to Tricoteux in which she declared him "the best Colossus a person could ask for Andre."

The 6' 10½" actor is best known for his roles in ABC's Once Upon A Time and Seventh Son. He was the large man spotted in the motion-capture suit filming scenes with Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand).

The role was previously played by Daniel Cudmore in X2: X-Men United, X-Men: The Last Stand, and X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool slices into theaters February 12, 2016.
