Chita Rivera Wants To Appear On The Walking Dead

She may be a queen of Broadway, but stage actress Chita Rivera wants to rule the undead as well.

During a recent appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, Rivera revealed that she wants a spot on The Walking Dead. The topic came up when Rivera told Fallon that he was so cute, she could eat his entire face. This lead to Fallon joking that they should do a Walking Dead-style reenactment stunt.

Upon hearing Fallon name-drop the AMC's zombie apocalypse series, based off of Robert Kirkman's famous comic book, Rivera squealed with delight.

"Get me some Walking Dead. I want to do that," she told Fallon. "For real, [daughter' Lisa and I love The Walking Dead. I think it's extraordinary. I think all of the actors are amazing. I think the stories are amazing. I think the survival is fantastic, and the make-up department is just—wow. How do they do it?"

Fallon certainly loved the idea, and tried to start an official campaign on the actress' behalf.

"Twitter, make this happen!" Fallon said, "Well see what happens."

The Walking Dead returns to AMC this fall, while companion-series Fear the Walking Dead debuts in August.
