A couple weeks ago, Marvel announced that Jon Bernthal had landed the role of Frank Castle/The Punisher in season 2 of Netflix's Daredevil. Today, Bernthal and his strong jawline dropped by Hypno Comics in Ventura, California to pick up some research material for his new comic book role.
The Walking Dead and Fury actor was nice enough to pose with the store's owner and even signed his first of many Punisher comics.
I wouldn't be surprised if Bernthal picked up a few comics we recommended for him in our recent Punisher Reader's Guide article.

Daredevil will return to Netflix for Season 2 in 2016.
