Ant-Man Releases Viral News Report

Marvel Studios has released a new viral video promoting Ant-Man.

Staged as a global newscast, the viral video announces Scott Lang's upcoming release from federal prison. The newscast fleshes out some of Lang's backstory, describing him as a "cyber criminal" and partially explaining how he wound up behind bars in the first place.

The video also has a nice shout-out to Marvel's other big movie of 2015, Avengers: Age of Ultron, with a report on the devastated nation of Sokovia. As viewers will remember, The Avengers and Ultron left the fictional nation devastated during the film's events.

And say, doesn't that newscaster, Christine Everhart, look familiar? She should, as she's the same reporter (played by Leslie Bibb) who "did a spread" on Tony Stark in Iron Man, and interviewed Justin Hammer in Iron Man 2.
