Adventure Time Renewed For Eighth Season

Cartoon Network has renewed Adventure Time for an eighth season.

Also renewed by Cartoon Network are original series Regular Show, Uncle Grandpa, Steven Universe, and Clarence.

Each of the renewed series ranked #1 amongst the target demographic in their respective time slots, making Cartoon Network #1 ad-supported network for Kids 6-11.

"It's a banner year for Cartoon Network Studios original productions," said Chief Content Officer, Rob Sorcher in a press release. "It is particularly gratifying to see shows so creatively forward-thinking also deliver so powerfully with the audience."

Adventure Time is the impossibly popular series that follows Finn and Jake as they traverse the mystical Land of Ooo and encounter its colorful inhabitants. Adventure Time is created by Pendleton Ward and is produced at Cartoon Network Studios.
