If you weren't totally convinced Vin Diesel is as much of a geek as any of us, it's time to start believing.

The actor responsible for voicing Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy and portraying Dominic Toretto six times (so far) throughout the Fast & Furious franchise turned 48 this weekend and got a cake that would make even the most serious Dungeon Master envious.

My birthday cake...Thanks for the love...

Diesel played Dungeons and Dragons back when he worked as a bouncer every chance he got. He believes the game allowed players to feel like characters before video games did this for people. An advocate for the imagination stimulated by the game, Diesel received the Dungeons and Dragons cake seen above for his birthday. It's a shame that anyone would eat such a masterpiece but if it tastes nearly as good as it looks, it must have been delicious.
