Since Arrow revealed in Season Two that Oliver Queen has a child he doesn't know about, fans have wondered whether and when the playboy superhero might learn about the son we're going to call Connor until we're told differently.

"Me personally being a dad, I would love to see how Oliver interacts with having a kid," said Stephen Amell during a reporter roundtable at Comic-Con International: San Diego. "Now obviously, it would be a different experience from that experience, but I think that that storyline deserves further attention. One of the big tenets of Greg Berlanti is you don't introduce something to the audience and you don't tease it if you are not going to follow through with it in some way, shape or form. So I think it's a safe bet that Oliver will find out about his child at some point."

Of course, in the comics, Oliver didn't really get to know Connor Hawke until Connor was in his late teens and began training to take up the mantle of Green Arrow from his father. In the TV series, the child is likely about 10 years old, and unlikely to be joining the family business right away.

Of course, Connor's mother lives in Central City, where The Flash takes place, allowing for the possibility that we could see a future version of the character during a time-travel sequence (or, hell, an Earth-2 version during that element of the series).

Arrow returns to CW Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT in October.
