The studio behind the Sharknado franchise is developing Dead 7, a "zombie western futuristic horror movie" that will feature members of the Backstreet Boys and NSYNC-er Joey Fatone.

Backstreet Boy Nick Carter is penning the script and will star as "a good guy that's going to help save the day." To be a bit more specific, a "ragtag band of gunslingers" will put their marksman skills to use when a plague transforms people into mindless zombies.

Carter will be joined by fellow Backstreet-ers Howie Dorough and A.J. McLean.

We can also expect more pop icons to appear than just members of the two '90s boy bands. "There's a wish list of people that I want," Carter told Rolling Stone. "I want it to be musically based. I might reach out to Jordan [Knight] from the New Kids on the Block."

Justin Timberlake fans shouldn't hold their breath, but Fatone hints that he may not be the only one from the band to appear. "I'm the only *NSYNC-er as of now, but you never know," Fatone teased. "Nick's vision is to bring some other people in that genre that have never really done a lot of film but that were in music in the Nineties and 2000s."

Could this be the next Sharknado?
