The Strain Officially Renewed For A Third Season

Fans of FX's horror series The Strain will be thrilled to know that it has been renewed for a third season.

Today during the TCA press tour, FX's Eric Schrier praised the series and confirmed its renewal.

"Guillermo [Del Toro] and Carlton [Cuse] have delivered two thrilling seasons of The Strain that are captivating and visually arresting, doing justice to the original novel trilogy and meeting fans' high expectations in the process. We're excited to see them carry this powerful story into a third season on FX."

As such in the previous seasons, the third season will air in the summer. No official date has been released just yet.
