Westworld First Look Trailer Airing Sunday On HBO

After an enthusiastic reception at some recent trade shows, the first look trailer for HBO's upcoming adaptation of Westworld will air tomorrow night on the network.

The one-hour drama series is a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin, based on the cult-favorite 1973 film by writer/director Michael Chricton.

The cast includes Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Ben Barnes, Jimmi Simpson, Clifton Collins, Jr., Simon Quarterman and Angela Sarafyan.

The trailer will air this Sunday, August 9 at approximately 8:58 pm et/pt - just prior to the season 2 finale of True Detective.
