At the end of last month, Marvel Studios released the official logo their upcoming Netflix series Jessica Jones, which is starring Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad, Apartment 23) in the title role. And now, Netflix has updated their queue with the logo, but with a purple background.

The color is a nod to the show's antagonist Zebediah Killgrave, who is more well known as The Purple Man. The sadistic mind-controller will be played by David Tennant, who is best known for his role as The Tenth Doctor on BBC's science fiction television series Doctor Who.

Ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell's Kitchen, New York City. Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an unlikely champion for those in need... especially if they're willing to cut her a check.

Marvel's Jessica Jones will debut later this year on Netflix.
