Mare Winningham Returning For American Horror Story: Hotel

Award-winning actress Mare Winningham is checking into FX's American Horror Story: Hotel, according to Entertainment Weekly.

This will be the third time Winningham has appeared in the horror anthology series. She made her American Horror Story debut as 'Alicia Spencer' in 2013's Coven and returned in 2014's Freak Show, playing 'Rita Gayheart.' In Hotel, Winningham will play "the titular establishment's laundress who works closely with Evan Peters' character, Mr. March."

The 56-year-old actress is known for her roles in St. Elmo's Fire (1985), Miracle Mile (1988) and Turner & Hooch (1989).

American Horror Story: Hotel will premiere October 7 on FX.
