First Proper Look At Arseface & Cassidy In New Preacher Set Photos

New Preacher set photos have been discovered that give us our first look at Joseph Gilgun (Lockout) as Cassidy and a new and proper look at Ian Colletti (Fox's Rake) as Eugene Root/Arseface.

For the past few weeks, the Old Lamy Mission Movie Set Facebook page (via comicus.it) has been posting behind-the-scenes snaps of the cast and crew as they prepared to film scenes at a decommissioned Catholic church — AMC paid to restore — in the rural town of Lamy, New Mexico.

In this sample below, we can see Gilgun sporting a punk-rock hairstyle for his Irish vampire, Colletti wearing prosthetics to display a disfigured face from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the interior of the church where Reverend Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper) will deliver his sermons, and Executive Producer Seth Rogen (The Interview) posing with a cast member.

Preacher follows Reverend Jesse Custer, a tough Texas preacher who has lost his faith, and has learned that God has left Heaven and abandoned his responsibilities. He finds himself the only person capable of tracking God down, demanding answers, and making him answer for his dereliction of duty. Accompanying Jesse on his journey is his former girlfriend and a friendly vampire who seems to prefer a pint in the pub to the blood of the innocent. On his tail is one of the most iconic bad guys in print – an immortal, unstoppable killing machine named the Saint of Killers —a western lone gunman archetype whose sole purpose is to hunt and kill Jesse.

The cast includes Dominic Cooper, Elizabeth Perkins, Ruth Negga, Joseph Gilgun, Lucy Griffiths, W. Earl Brown and Ian Coletti.

Preacher will premiere during the 2015-16 television season on AMC.
