Another HBO executive is insisting that Game of Thrones favorite Jon Snow is very, very dead. Michael Ellenberg, HBO's executive vice president of programming, told a convention crowd in Edinburgh, Scotland on Thursday that "[Jon Snow] is absolutely dead."
Of course, we're really just talking in circles here. Fans keep asking people in the know if Jon Snow is really dead, and they keep saying yes. We know that Jon Snow is dead. The question we really want to know is "will he come back?"
Kit Harrington's arrival in Belfast in time for the start of production on Game of Thrones Season 6 has certainly led to speculation of Snow's return, not to mention Melisandre's conveniently timed arrival at the wall just before his death. Then again, Charles Dance showed up for Season 5 just to play a corpse, so we'll have to wait and see.
Game of Thrones Season 6 will air on HBO in 2016.
