New Star Wars: The Force Awakens Images Released

The latest batch of Star Wars photos have awakened online.

Featuring the cast, crew, and droids from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, these new images from Empire Magazine give the latest look at director J.J. Abrams' upcoming Star Wars installment. Two of the images focus on John Boyega's Finn character exploring the planet Jakku, which audiences will visit for the first time in Force Awakens. These behind-the-scenes photos also show the film's camera crew, and J.J. Abrams.

Empire also revealed a new up-close image of Star Wars' newest droid, BB-8, as part of their current issue's Limited Edition Collector's Cover. You can view all of the photos, along with Empire's other Star Wars images and covers, in the gallery below.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens on December 18.
