Confirmed: Wonder Woman To Begin Filming In November

Wonder Woman producer Deborah Snyder (Zack Snyder's wife) has now confirmed that filming for Gal Gadot's solo film, which will be directed by Monster director Patty Jenkins (replaced Michelle MacLaren), will begin filming in November.

"But we still wanted a female director and we found Patty Jenkins, who had the right vision and the same vision as we had for the character," Snyder said at Geena Davis Institutes' Gender In Media event. "And we're really happy to be going into production in November and it's been a really great process. We tried to hire as many female people on the crew as possible."

Listen to Snyder's comments in the video below.

Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman solo film, also starring Chris Pine (Star Trek), will hit theaters on June 23, 2017.

#1- It's reverse discrimination to target hire women for this film. #2- If they don't cast a woman who actually looks the part and has some acting abilities beyond one dimension, I'll pass. Btw, any WW movie made will have to top this....and that won't be easy because this movie is GREAT! WonderWoman-1.jpg

Dude why cant you just chill. Besides we dont even KNOW if she is going to do SUPER bad being wonder woman. Besides I think it is time for girls to step up in the entertainment industry. Sure they will hire as many females as possible but the majority will still be male but at least it is progress. Besides she does look like the part she is Ex-Military and she trains using what the Israeli Army does every week.

People please dont give her a hard time. Sure she is not a HUGE movie star or is well known but thats how these kinds of movie stars start off with before they go big time. This will definitely make her a huge star but the question is how well she will act as wonder woman. And please dont complain about the looks, if you only worry about the looks rather than acting ability thats sad. Overall just give her a chance keep your feelings neutral because you might eat your words and she turns out great.

  1. You are so sexist. How could you care more about here looks. She beat you to pulp, and the fact that you feel comfotable saying things about her before seeing her is just the highest order of ignorance.

  2. Ahhh, , yeah. SCREW THAT! I'll happily pass!
