The muggle world is getting a new injection of wizarding world spirit and spirits thanks to a new bar in Toronto. The Lockhart – named after Gilderoy Lockhart, Hogwarts' most inept Defense against the Dark Arts instructor – is the hippest new Harry Potter themed bar in the city.

"Without knowing any of the Harry Potter stuff, you already will think of this as a cool bar," co-owner Paris Xerx tells Now Toronto. "You'd come here and see the stag's head on the wall and go, 'Wow, I love that,' but a Harry Potter fan might say, 'That's a Patronus.'"

The Patronus isn't the only Easter egg hidden at the Lockhart. Observant fans will also find the symbol of the Deathly Hollows, plus plenty of Harry Potter POP! Figures. The bar area, designed to resemble a modern apothecary, serves drinks with names like "Befuddlement Brew," "The Shaklebolt," and "Ludo's Debt."

It may strike some as a bit odd to celebrate Harry Potter fandom in this way, since Harry was still not old enough to drink anything stronger than Butterbeer in most of Canada by the time the series ended, but the Lockhart will surely be a favorite drinking destination for former Hogwarts hopefuls in the area.
