Matt Damon Thinks Jason Bourne Could Beat Batman

Matt Damon has apparently never heard the phrase "prep time."

When you're playing a brainwashed super-soldier for the fourth time, and longtime friend and collaborator is depicting The Dark Knight in another franchise, it's inevitable that someone asks, "Who would win?" And Damon says Jason Bourne could beat Batman if he had to.

"Jason Bourne would kick the s--t out of Batman—absolutely!" Damon told E! News at the Toronto International Film Festival, adding, "Batman's gotta take on Superman first. If he could beat him then maybe he could take on Jason Bourne."

There will be, one expects, plenty of similar conversations going on in the next little while. Besides Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, you've got superheroes fighting one another in Captain America: Civil War and rumors of a Fantastic Four/X-Men match-up down the road. At the same time, superhero movie actors are beoming big box office draws, and as they start headlining other action franchises, it's likely they'll be asked which of their characters could stand up to the other.
