Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor is trading in heavy metal for aliens and time lords - at least for an episode. The rockstar will join Doctor Who this season as an alien warlord called "The Fisher King," putting him up against Peter Capaldi's Doctor. The Mirror first reported the casting, and Taylor later confirmed the "awesome secret."

Fisher King is in next week's episode, and will be played by a total of three people. Neil Fingleton acts as the embodiment of the warlord, standing at 7'7" and the tallest person in England. Peter Serafinowicz, of Guardians of the Galaxy and Shaun of the Dead, will voice the character when he talks. But Taylor will voice the character's roaring scream, and as The Mirror says, "gives him the horrific edge."

Doctor Who's next episode, "Under the Lake," airs October 3, 2015.
