Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Coming To Marvel Future Fight

Characters from Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are headed to the Marvel Future Fight mobile game. This first ever collaboration between Marvel Entertainment's TV and game divisions will see 9 characters from the ABC drama introduced to Netmarble's free-to-play mobile game.

"It's about making two things much stronger," Peter Phillips, exec VP and G.M. of interactive and digital distribution for Marvel Entertainment, told Variety. "Part of the strength of our mobile titles is that they enable us to integrate very contemporary content."

On Oct. 7, Phil Coulson, Daisy "Quake" Johnson, Deathlok, Melinda May, Bobbi Morse, Lincoln Campbell, and Lady Sif will be added to Marvel Future Fight as playable characters. Raina and Gordon will be added as boss enemies.

"It's always nice to get some extra publicity in the second week (of the season)," said Dan Buckley, Marvel's president of TV. "That's when marketing dollars start to become thinner."

Fans may also see new storylines inspired by Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. introduced into the mobile RPG, which now features over 50 Marvel characters.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3 premiers Sept. 29 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
