Testing for Jason, aka the Red Ranger:

Testing for Kimberley, aka the Pink Ranger:

Variety adds, "Insiders say the studio is looking for fresh faces to fill out the team and will probably look for a big name to play the antagonist for the films, though no offers have been given out for that part yet."

The film is being directed by Dean Israelite (Project Almanac), based on a screenplay written by Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz (X:Men: First Class, Fringe).

Power Rangers will begin filming in January 2016 and is scheduled for release on January 13, 2017.
