The Late Show host Stephen Colbert is a known geek, and he's indulged that side of personality on air from time to time. Last night, Colbert did it again, inviting The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses onto the show as his musical guest.

The travelling Zeldaorchestra performed a new arrangement of music from across the Zelda series that will be featured in The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes. You can see and hear the performance in the video below.

The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses is currently on a world tour performing "Master Quest," the third installment of their multimedia Legend of Zelda show. Dates and ticket info can be found at the symphony's official website.

As a bonus, here's The Late Show house band, Jon Batiste & Stay Human, playing the Zelda theme to hype the performance before the show.

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes will release for the Nintendo 3DS on Oct. 23.
