Fans are still disappointed about the cancelation of Constantine, which David Goyer helped develop. Speaking to Variety, Goyer revealed that he believes the show would still be going if it had landed on the right network.

"We almost doubled our numbers in DVR numbers, but they weren't quite there in network television in counting those metrics," he said. "If it had been on a basic cable channel, it could still be on."

Goyer is also pleased to see Matt Ryan reprising his role as John Constantine for a guest appearance on Arrow.

"I adore Matt and I think he is the definitive depiction of the character, and I think it is super cool that Greg (Berlanti) and Andrew (Kreisberg) brought him into that show," Goyer said.

The episode of Arrow featuring Constantine's cameo, "Haunted," airs Nov. 4 on The CW.
