Wheelchair Transformed Into Star Wars Snowspeeder For Kid's Halloween Costume

Welcome the newest member of the Rebel Squadron, 8-year-old Jeremy Miller!

Jeremy suffers from spina bifida and because of it he has to spend much of his time confined to a wheelchair, however, his father Ryan Scott Miller won't let his son's spinal condition prevent the boy from enjoying Halloween like everyone else. With foam board, PVC pipe, spray paint, bicycle brakes and duct tape, Ryan transformed his son's wheelchair into a snowspeeder. Those are the fast, wedge-shaped crafts used by the Rebel Alliance in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back to battle the Empire's enormous AT-AT Walkers on the icy planet of Hoth.

Jeremy's snowspeeder isn't just a frame on top of a wheelchair. It comes with working flaps and two forward-facing laser cannons that "shoot glowing Nerf darts loaded with glow sticks!"

It narrowly-beats his Halloween costume from last year. For that, his father transformed Jeremy's wheelchair into Captain America's WWII motorcycle from 2011's The First Avenger. And it had "working headlights and tail lights, bluetooth speaker for engine sounds and smoking tailpipes!"
