Hugh Jackman To Reportedly Be Involved In X-Men: Apocalypse Reshoots

Guess what? I got a fever! And the only prescription.. is more Jackman!

X-Men: Apocalypse is headed back to Montreal in January for reshoots, according to Le Journal de Montréal. They'll spend a few weeks shooting at Mel's Studio, which is the same location production used earlier this year for principal photography.

Additionally, Le Journal de Montréal reports that "it seems that Hugh Jackman will be on hand" for the reshoots. 20th Century Fox has not made Jackman's involvement in the film official, but we reported in June that an X-Men: Apocalypse prop was created for Jackman. Whether Jackman is coming back to refine a scene(s) or expand his role is anybody's guess.

X-Men: Apocalypse is being directed by Bryan Singer (X-Men: Days of Future Past), based on a script written by Simon Kinberg (Fantastic Four). The cast includes Jennifer Lawrence, Olivia Munn, Rose Byrne, Michael Fassbender, Sophie Turner, Oscar Isaac, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, James McAvoy, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Lucas Till, Ben Hardy, Josh Helman and Lana Condor.

X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters May 27, 2016.

  1. NOOOOO!!!!

  2. In other words, Fox isn't confident this film will succeed without Wolverine, so lets plant more Wolverine in there.

I'm not surprised. As I stated in a few prior posts. When a movie has resort to showing more flesh ... you know there is 'trouble'. My point? Well go back to the original X-Men, (even the bad ones) - they did NOT show any flesh .... they did NOT need to. The actors could and did carry the movie by their ACTING - not by showing flesh. This movie is going to be bad, sorry it is. The minutes I saw all the 'flesh' ... I went, this is going to be 'bad'. Now understand I'm not a prude at all .... and not 'anti flesh' .... Just look at the Bond Girls. :) I have a bad feeling about this and I'm not sure Hugh J. will be able to 'carry it' ... not sure at all, and I would not blame him if it does bomb.
